Never send money first

Anyone asking for an "allowance test", gift cards, crypto or a fee before meeting is running a scam. Report them.

First meetings should be in a busy public place. Tell a friend where you’ll be and arrange your own transport.

Don’t share your phone, address or workplace until you trust someone.

A short video call before meeting filters out most fakes.

Pressure, inconsistent stories or refusal to video call are red flags. Block and report.
